Alchemilla mollis (or Lady’s Mantle) is a small herbaceous perennial. It has large bluey-green leaves which hold drops of water. The small bright lemon yellow flowers are abundant, held above the leaves. They are great for the front of a border and form large clumps.
It is a forgiving plant and can be grown in sun, partial shade or shade and any aspect. Propogation is easy; either by division or they self-seed freely.
Good for cottage or country gardens. Grown with Geranium Rozanne they provide a vibrant burst of colour in early summer.
