A couple of plants had died in the flower bed leaving some gaps. It had plenty of snowdrops and primulas for the Spring but then little colour in Summer.
We put in a mix of some small Hebes for year-round structure and some herbaceous perennials which will flower throughout the Summer and into the Autumn. This is immediately after planting.
By mid-summer the perennials had settled in and were giving a glorious display.
