A huge variety of evergreen and deciduous shrubs which includes Azaleas. Whilst some flower very early in the year the main flowering season is May and June. They have a wide range of flower colours.
Rhododendrons mainly originated in the Himalayas. They prefer dappled shade and a sheltered position. They don’t like chalk soils and need acidic soil which is humus rich. Assuming you have the soil they need they are easy to grow.
